Privacy Policy – BENNON Meta API Integration

This Privacy Policy describes how BENNON Group a. s. (“BENNON”, “we”, “us” or “our”) processes information in connection with the BENNON Meta API Integration application (“App”).

The App is an internal business integration operated by BENNON and is used by authorized BENNON personnel to connect BENNON’s systems and internal tools with services and APIs provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., including the Meta Marketing API.

The App is not intended as a consumer-facing application.

2. Information We Process

When the App communicates with Meta APIs, we may process Meta Platform Data necessary to operate the integration.

Depending on the permissions granted to the App, this may include:

Meta access tokens and other authorization credentials;
Meta Business Account and advertising account identifiers;
Facebook Page or Instagram business account identifiers where applicable;
campaign, ad set, advertisement and creative identifiers;
advertising campaign configuration, status, budgets and related settings;
advertising performance and aggregated reporting metrics, such as impressions, reach, clicks, conversions, costs and similar advertising statistics;
information necessary to create, read, update or manage BENNON advertising campaigns;
technical information relating to API requests, such as timestamps, request status, error information and security logs.

The App is designed to access only data necessary for managing and analyzing BENNON’s own authorized Meta business and advertising assets.

The App is not designed to collect Facebook or Instagram users’ passwords, payment card information or private messages.

3. How We Use Meta Platform Data

Data obtained through Meta APIs is processed only for legitimate internal business purposes, including:

connecting BENNON’s internal systems and authorized tools with Meta APIs;
retrieving advertising campaign information and performance data;
creating, modifying, optimizing and managing BENNON advertising campaigns;
preparing internal marketing reports and analyses;
monitoring advertising performance;
automating authorized marketing and advertising workflows;
troubleshooting API integrations;
maintaining the security and integrity of the integration; and
complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Meta Platform Data is not sold or rented to third parties.

We do not use Meta Platform Data for purposes unrelated to operating, analyzing or managing BENNON’s authorized Meta business activities.

4. Authorization and Access

Access to the App is limited to authorized BENNON personnel and authorized technical systems.

The App accesses Meta Platform Data only after the relevant Meta account, Business Account, advertising account or other asset has granted the permissions required by Meta.

We apply access controls designed to prevent unauthorized access to Meta Platform Data.

5. Service Providers

BENNON may use technical service providers to host, maintain, develop, secure or operate the App and related internal systems.

Where such providers process Meta Platform Data on our behalf, they may access only the information necessary to provide the relevant service and are required to process that information subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality and security obligations.

We do not disclose Meta Platform Data to third parties for their independent advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction.

Access credentials and Meta access tokens are treated as confidential information and access to them is restricted.

Where possible, advertising performance information used for reporting or analysis is processed in aggregated form.

7. Data Retention

We retain Meta Platform Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

operate the App;
provide the functionality described in this Privacy Policy;
maintain internal business records;
ensure security and troubleshoot technical issues; or
comply with applicable legal obligations.

Authorization credentials and access tokens are deleted, revoked or replaced when they are no longer required.

Data that is no longer necessary for the purposes described above is deleted, anonymized or aggregated, unless its continued retention is required by law.

8. Data Deletion Requests

Users and organizations whose information has been processed through the App may request deletion of their data at any time.

Please include sufficient information to allow us to identify the relevant Meta account, Business Account or other connection associated with the request.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify the identity or authority of the person making the request and to protect data from unauthorized deletion requests.

After verification, we will delete applicable data stored by the App and revoke or remove associated authorization credentials where appropriate, unless retention is required by applicable law.

Requests will be processed without undue delay and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Users may also revoke the App’s access to their Meta assets directly through the privacy, security or business integration settings provided by Meta.

Revoking access prevents the App from making future authorized API requests. If deletion of previously stored data is also required, users should submit a deletion request using the email address above.

9. International Data Processing

In connection with the operation of Meta services and technical service providers, information may be processed in countries outside the European Economic Area.

Where required by applicable data protection legislation, appropriate safeguards are used for such transfers.

10. User Rights

Where applicable under data protection legislation, individuals may have the right to request:

access to personal data concerning them;
correction of inaccurate information;
deletion of personal data;
restriction of processing;
objection to processing; and
data portability.

Individuals also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

11. Meta Platforms

The App uses services and APIs provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.

Meta’s own collection and processing of information through Facebook, Instagram and other Meta services is governed by Meta’s own terms and privacy policies. BENNON does not control Meta’s independent processing of information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the functionality of the App, our processing activities, applicable legislation or Meta platform requirements change.

The current version of this Privacy Policy will always be publicly available at this URL.
